Education and professional background

I graduated from Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine in 1991. After working at various public institutions in Mersin and Adana, I completed my specialist training in the Department of Ophthalmology at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine between 1994 and 1999. As an ophthalmologist, I worked at Adana Numune Hospital, the Laser Centre of Özel Sistem Medical Centre and Çukurova University's Medicosocial Unit. Today, I see patients in my private practice.

I continue my professional development through regular training. Each year, I attend congresses and educational meetings in Türkiye and abroad, sharing my knowledge and experience with colleagues as a speaker. While following current approaches, I assess each method in relation to the patient's needs and suitability.

Assessment of the eye area

A natural appearance is central to my approach. My aim is to plan a change that harmonises with the person's face while preserving their expression and individual features. When assessing the eye area, I value eye health and eyelid function as much as appearance. Before deciding on a surgical or non-surgical procedure, I take care to listen to my patient and discuss openly what may change, the limits of the method and the recovery process.

Excess eyelid skin, a drooping eyelid, under-eye bags and hollowness may require different assessments. During the examination, the person's concerns, eye and eyelid anatomy, previous procedures and expectations are considered together.
